Blair Hardman’s Jazz Party
One of the constants for the local Sonoma County music scene has been Blair Hardman. He started with his first band, “Hot Chakra” back in 1971 and has been jamming on bass for groups all over the area. Hardman also open Zone Recording in Cotati and has helped promote the local music scene over the years.
This Friday night, July 19, at the Redwood Cafe, Blair will be jamming once again at his Jazz Party. Sponsored by KSRO, Blair will be joined by Rita Thies on sax, Tim Haggerty on keyboards, Randy Quan on guitar, and Mike Messer on drums for a three-hour show that kicks off at 9 p.m. as part of the Music After Dark promotion.
The group, with the exception of Messer, has been playing jazz together for over 25 years. Tickets for this unique event are $10. Redwood Cafe is located at 8240 Old Redwood Highway.
