The City of Cotati offers ongoing aikido, yoga and karate classes at the Ray Miller Community Center in the Eagle Room, 216 E. School St. in Cotati. Aikido 7-8:30 p.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays, and 10-11:30 a.m. Saturdays; Hatha Yoga 5:30-6:45 p.m. Tuesdays; Karate for adults and children 5:30 p.m. Mondays and Wednesdays. Events:

Noted Baroque opera conductor Alan Curtis and opera mezzo Joyce DiDonato join forces for “Drama Queens” 8-10 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 20, at the Green Music Center’s Weill Hall at SSU, 1801 E. Cotati Ave. in Rohnert Park. They perform a selection of arias by Handel, Monteverdi, Gluck and Haydn in their only West Coast appearance. Cost is $35-90. Petaluma North Bay Performing Arts Association and Contessi Ballet present “Nutcracker 2012” during Thanksgiving weekend at Spreckels Performing Arts Center, 5401 Snyder Lane in Rohnert Park.
