Lost horse found in Cotati
This palomino gelding got lost in Cotati on Friday, Sept. 28. Has anyone claimed him?
This Palomino gelding was found and taken in by a Cotati resident last Friday, Sept. 28. The following message, along with the photo, was posted by “Jetawho” at barrelhorse world, a national online forum:
“This sweet old guy was wandering in the road last night in Cotati, California. Anyone know who he belongs to? I sure wish I could find the owners! If it was my horse I’d be going crazy!!!”
Follow-up posts reveal that the horse arrived with the injured leg, which “Jetawho” cleaned off and re-treated. Local vets were notified, but they had no idea whom this horse belongs to.
“Any updates?” someone posted last night. Cotati Towns is wondering the same thing. Has anyone claimed this horse?

Horses are homebodies. Maybe if you took him for a “walk” he would lead you to his home. If not, then he was probably trailered in and dumped. Looks like a sweetie.
