Tonight: French chansons in Cotati
The Church of the Oaks kick off this year’s Bastille Celebration its annual French songs concert and dance. Two Gypsy Kisses’ tenor Michael Van Why (SSU grad in music) and accordionist Sheri Mignano present an evening of the romantic dance hall, cafe and cabaret waltzes, swing, rumbas, and tangos made famous by Edith Piaf, Yves Montand, Charles Azanavour, Serge Gainsbourg, Joe Dassin.
